Hello everyone,

I just recently went and bought a laptop, but I'd like to continue to have my desk top set up, so I'm looking into buying a router, but I have no idea what to look for. I've never used one before, so I was wondering if you guys would give your opinions on them, and give me advice on what I should look for. thanks.

Linksys is probably going to be your first choice. they range from $50 to $150 for a wireless N router, they are not graphical in the least, and they are extremely easy to use. The other option I would say is a belkin. However these are the only 2 I would recommend for their easy of use.

Get a linksys
Without knowing your computing experience, thats about as user friendly as I can suggest.
Please read the documentation when you do and follow instructions to setting it up. Most questions you will have pertaining to that router are answered in the simple wizard guide.
I'm just stating that cause many people have the tendency to ask before they read/research.

Post 3, I absolutely concur with that assessment.
